I spent 8 weeks and 3 days there back in ’85… marching the hills in Fort Knox with a rifle….

It went REAL well! 2 birds for myself in 4 trips out & 2 birds called in for my son in just the 2 trips. His 2 birds totaled 10 minutes of hunting! You have those years sometimes! And you have those years that take longer!May 7, 2009 at 1:58 pm #51353Quote:

Somebody posted a video from this site about bowhunting turkeys on one of the sites i frequent(nwtf, kentuckyhunting, ?) I never miss a chance to join a new board & talk turkey hunting. I love to hunt deer, ducks, squirrels too, but turkeys are head & shoulders above the others IMHO! I don’t think it’s against forum policy at all, but thank you for being mindful of the rules and asking!
Western KY, pretty much the breadbasket of turkey hunting in America. You’ve got some serious turkey destinations within just a few hours drive from you it sounds like. Most likely I’d be unemployed.
Glad you joined, and glad to have a fellow turkey nut onboard. I’m in the same boat…..if I could only do one, I’d trade in all the fishing and other hunting in the world for turkeys.

I was just curious as we do not have many/if any members from Kentucky. I hope you enjoyed the video and we are looking to produce some more.
