Not sure when but, this is from a person who works part time at the Sportsmen’s Warehouse in St. Cloud. Something about 60 days? I sure hope this is not true for all stores

SW owner sold 80% of the share of the companies to an outfit in Canada and if the stores are not making a nickel, the doors are being sealed…..

So I rushed there after work to burn up a $100.00 gift card and it was closed. Sign read “closed at 5pm due to weather” funny every other store in town was open and never heard of anything like that before! Going to try again tomorrow.

    Sad to hear.

I am a big fan of Sportsman’s Warehouse, and would offer them my dollar before i would ever step foot into a Gander Mountain. Needless to say, they never did dissapoint, and in my opinion deserve to make it more than some of the other mainstream outdoors stores…

It’s a very sad day for IDO to lose a valued sponsor such as Sportsman’s Warehouse who has supported IDO and its members. Without people like them, we do not exist. Scott Mueller and his team were outstanding to work with and they will be deeply missed much more than the Coon Rapids store itself.

It’s a sadder day for all of the SW employees who are going to be losing their jobs. It must be really hard to see something go away so quickly after you put your heart and soul into building it.

I wish everyone at Sportsman’s Warehouse the very best and I hope all of you land on your feet once again. I realize this news hits home pretty hard. New jobs will have to be found, so you can pay your bills, put food on your table and support your families once again. This is real life and sometimes news like this we have a tendency to forget the individual concerns and needs.

Please let us know if there is anything that IDO can do to help you out during this uncertain time.

It is indeed! My GO TO place for sure! I did find a way to spend my card tonight! New bow rest for me and had to buy out the rack on my favorite smallie plastics. BTW 20% archery supplies, lures and lots of other garb.
