Just thought some of you would find this slide show interesting. Just shows how vicious these dogs are. I thought the guy narrating was pretty biased but it is a concern

The website was put together to make the public aware of what the wolf does. Some people actually belive they eat grass.
March 3, 2009 at 12:38 am #48105Biased, yet true none the less. I know of a place in MN where you see this quite often. So what do you do? I really don’t have the answer. What are they going to eat? Do we trim the wolf pop?
TeamBurbotPosts: 324March 3, 2009 at 6:29 pm #48149well if they are able to take so many animals like that the population of elk must be very good. if it where more scars they would probably eat more of the first kill.

What does a slideshow like this prove?
What does this prove? Seriously?
It PROVES that wolves kill way more than people think. It PROVES they kill for fun. It PROVES they are ruthless killers. It PROVES the myth of them killing only the weak and old, is just that, a MYTH. It PROVES they need to be CONTROLLED not PROTECTED.
Many people need to get the delusional picture of a wolf howling on the top of a mountain with the full moon as a backdrop as a mythical animal. They are there, they are causing more harm than good, and they need to be controlled.
This isn’t Hollywood or Disneyland, this is REALITY. But hey, if it doesn’t directly affect you or your woods, it is alright though, right?March 4, 2009 at 4:23 pm #48188I spent a little time looking over the site yesterday. From what I got they aren’t against wolves at all. They’re against the introduction of the Canagian Gray Wolf. According to the site it was not a native species and should not have ever been introduced into the area. They also state that the CGW has driven out the native Timber Wolf.
I see both sides of this. If the CGW shouldn’t have been there in the first place then something should be done. But on the other hand, that what preditors do, they kill. You can’t hate them for doing what mother nature intended them to do.

Nail on the head I am with you. Didnt watch the video not going to. dont like the wolf dont like there killing join peta and stay out of the woods. There is no way they will kill off an entire species thats our job as history has showed, its alway easy to point the finger.
Say what you will I happen to like them and no video or comment will change my mindneusch303Posts: 539November 6, 2009 at 1:25 pm #66777Quote:
I hunt near Emily, Mn. (plenty O’ wolves around there and in my woods!) The video PROVES nothing except that someone with an extremely biased view decided to create it.
Control in overly populated areas…Couldn’t agree more. Don’t get away from the subject at hand and that is that the video tells us nothing…
Many, many animals eat only certain parts of their kill (or kill for reasons that we know nothing about and that includes you! I love it when people say “kill for fun” like they know that is why animals do what they do. Get serious!)
They were here first dude. Relax a bit and enjoy the creatures in the woods around you…ALL of them…RR
X2 I hunt the Buyck/Orr area. Lots of wolves. Lots of deer to. Regarding controlling the wolf population, sign me up. I’ve got a special place in my game room for a big black alpha male. I’d even take a tag a year just to try and harvest a wolf yearly. They appear to be a challenging hunt.AnonymousGuestPosts:
