Well so I was picking up my parents dogs last night and my dad works at rainbow Foods.

Its the rainbow foods in maplewood(?) off of white bear ave.

Disclaimer, This did happen and I am just telling it as I heard it so if it makes the news and if I don’t have all the fact as straight.I am just telling it as I was told so don’t hold me to it.
Anyhow, So this guy decides he is gonna rob the bank thats in the store. He passes a note to the teller and its says something like, I have a gun in my pocket and I will shoot everyone if you don’t give me the money. So the bank tell see all the people around and is scared. So she decides that she is gonna give the guy the money and not but up a big stink about it.(like she has any other choice) The teller slips in one of those exploding dye packs ( I am not sure how they work) but the guy leaves the store. She calls security/cops as soon as he leaves. The guy makes it out of the store. The cops show up to rainbow. They find his jacket out in the parking lot. (From what my dad tells me this guy must have freaked out when the dye exploded and took off his jacket, This might not be true being how I don’t have all the facts) So.. they find his jacket and the money is inside (nice) but here is the kicker. The guys left his cell phone is in his jacket . So to makes things better for this guy there is a picture of this guy in his own cell phone that they used to identify this guy with and bingo end of story busted.
    Pretty unbelievable I know……

Hopefully this is the short version.

I am so glad this guy got caught.
Thanks are in order to a quick thinking teller, nice work!

Must be a relative to the guy who did the same thing only he wrote his note on the back on one of his own deposit slips! He is definately a candidate for the Darwin Awards!
