Well here is is! I’m extremely happy with how it turned out! A big thank you goes out to the taxidermist – Kirk Peterson from Peterson Taxidermy located in Arkansaw, WI.

Brad I was simply in awe when I saw it the other night. Pics just don’t do this deer justice. I personally have never seen a whitetail with width like that before. BTW- He looks so natural bedded down on the dining room table!

Awesome Brad! Without re-reading the original story, did you get this one while bedded like this?

Congrats again! Wish I could have been there for the unveiling.

Here’s a few more angles. I shot this buck in 2007 and was in a tree stand. Tina also surprised me with a xmas present and contacted a wildlife artist who painted the wide one in the same exact area where I shot him on that memorable night.

By far, the coolest mount I’ve ever seen. What a great idea to have him mounted like that. What does it weigh?

Nice mount Brad, he did a very good job. It really does look like hes just lying there relaxing along a fenceline or in some brush, nice buck.

“BTW- He looks so natural bedded down on the dining room table!”
I took some tough negotiating to get Brad to take him out of our Master Bedroom
Seriously, Kirk did a great job – it is a beautiful addition to our den.

Full body mount goes for around $1500.

    Brad,
That’s a beautiful buck! I’m tempted to post pics of the mounts Kirk did for me to show his workmanship. Maybe another day… This is YOUR time to shine!
