Do most people use their cover scent for multiple years or buy new from year to year. Not sure if it can get stale or not. I see walmart has the Primos XP on clearance for $7. It’s normally $16. If it doesn’t go bad I might stock up.

I don’t think it will go stale. I buy the stuff by the gallon.

Some commercial scents do go bad, some do not. Depends if they have preservatives in them or not. Some people think critters can tell fresh cover scent from spoiled scent. Who knows. Next time you get a deer, why not bottle the urine and freeze it in small quanities. Then you know you have quality cover scent.

Then I’ll get attacked by some crazy buck. We have taken the tarcel glands off of a hot doe before and used them.

Tarsal glands from a buck work too. Just dry them out and put them in a plastic bag then hang from a limb close to the ground, A pre rut or rutting buck can smell that theres another buck close by.

If you buy it, I would put it in a ziplock bag, and freeze it.
