Anyone have or use a video camera that attaches to your shotgun or rifle?

I’ve never used one, but would like to hear some responses of people that have.

A few years back when I was really into paintball, I played a tournament with a guy that had a ‘paintball gun camera’ mounted to the barrel of his marker. It looked very similar to this one Barrel Cam

Only problem I noticed with that unit was that fact that the recording device itself resided in the guy’s pocket, so he was essentially ‘attached’ to his marker.

Would you use the camera mainly for shooting clays? or in the field as well?

Say Don, Speaking of clays, I’m back in town so if you and John need another guy to go help blast at a couple…

Gander Mountain has them that you can change mounts for gun, bow, or helmet cam. Haven’t tried it, but it would be pretty neat.

Pete, I am thinking about getting out and doing some shooting soon. I may head over to Eau Claire on Saturday and check out some boats. Let me know if ya want to go over and order a Skeeter.

Steve, thanks that camera may fit the bill. I will also check out Gander, thanks Jason.

I have used the Adrenaline Systems camera with a DVR 200 and has worked very well. My set up is with the Varifocal cam which allows me to change the field of view. So far the video I have gotten is like nothing I could ever get on a regular camcorder.
    Check out out my cam:
