Hey guys,
My buddy has an old chest-type freezer that we’re going to make into a smoker. I would say it’s about 5 feet wide, 6 feet tall and 3 feet deep. The best part is the bottom two feet are open. Our plan is to enclose that bottom 2 feet and have that as our smoker part. We saw many new smokers that are electric and we are curious if we could put an electric element in the bottom to create the smoke. We’re not too sure on how to do this and are looking for advice. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
