in the last few days of deer hunting in chenwatana me and my party came across a big bird. we looked up the bird online and it is known as an emu. the bird is not native to the US. and apparently it is lost. it is very hungry, and friendly. we fed it some food but that did not seem to help. the bird has been there three days. if anybody knows of the owner of this emu please tell the owner to go pick up the bird in the northeastern parking lot. thats were ther bird seem to be all this time. thank you and I hope we find the owner to that bird.

Probably a drop off. Funny how people who can’t handle animals tend to drop them off in the country or release an invasive species of fish into the lakes and rivers.

I’d give the local CO a call. From there he can contact someone from animal control to come and get the bird.

You know those birds are farm raised for meat right? I’d head back and get some steaks made
