    What’s the story Derek!??

Yes, this means you will have to register on IdoHunting. It takes all of three minutes…it’s free and no spam or any type of email.

This is what a person would call being “black beared” into signing on Ido!

This post will be moved to the Bear Forum in a couple days.

But I might unless I hear you say something nice about Redneckcrackers on the fishing side

Hey Kooty—at least there was no pink dress involved

Derek, we are all pretty harmless here—ask my daughter

The rest of the story….. Well a fella kinda gets pretty lonely up in the bear woods, and this bear was the cutest thing I happen to run across…..

Well the rest of the story. It all started back last fall, while bear hunting i got word of some private land up in the No quota area North of Bemiji. Upon further investigating, myself and a couple buddies decided to check it out. It held true. On our first trip out, 4 of us harvested 4 bears. Nothing real big, 200lbs was our biggest. However, having 2 tags in the no quota, a couple of us decided to go back late season and try for the “big” ones. I knew there was a good bear hitting my bait, as I had all I could do to lift the rock on top of the bait box. The first night nothing came in during shooting hours, however the 2nd night, this bear come in. Guestimating the weight to be around 325-350, 5.25 inch pads, 6 1/2 foot in length.

    My biggest bear so far.

We also had a camera on another bait, and had pictures of a bear bigger than the one I shot, however we only had two days to hunt and this one never showed up during daylight.

Well, I’m kind of afraid to ask…but did you get any pic’s from out west? How did you do?

…isn’t antelope hunting the same as prairie dog hunting?
