antler growth

    Just wondering what you guys feel when deer antlers are fully developed. Been seeing some nice bucks this week and wondering if they are done or can I expect some more BONE. Haven’t read anythng lately on the subject thanks. Hope to have some pics soon.

    No they aren’t done growing yet Typically in MN, they don’t shed their velvet until the last week of august-first week of september. The first week and a half of august is about the final stretch of antler growth until the antlers start to harden

    I agree with protourbaits. Right around the begining of August they are pretty much done.

    I always figured they were done growing by Aug. 1st but they look pretty impressive right now
