It is going to hurt big time as we do not have that much ice at this time. We may not see as much up here around Grand Rapids but southern MN is going to get clobbered.
Some of the smaller lake around here have 5 inches already so if we do not get hit with a lot of heavy snow, we will be alright. Good luck to you guys down south. You may want to get out early Saturday before it gets too bad but BE CAREFULL.

Any snow this weekend will ruin the ice unless we can somehow build 12″ first…which won’t happen

The local weather guy down here in La Crosse said we could possibly see 5-10″ of snow by Sunday. *yuck*

I’ll believe the snow when I see it. They always hipe it up and it usually never amounts to more than a couple inches. I hope it doesnt happen to be more than an inch as the lake just froze over around here.

    Austin + Lake = oxymoron

Unless of course you’re talking about the Mill Pond.

I know… I fished it a time or two, but I couldn’t get myself to keep any of those fish that glow in the dark.

Alright, I can’t prove that they glow, but that’s what I heard.

Wouldn’t it be ironic to catch a “pig” walleye in the run-off pond from Hormel.
