Alaska caribou hunt info wanted

    I’d like to make a trip to Alaska. Does anyone have experience with this? Any recomendations as to where and how? Don Miller

    I don’t have an answer for ya, but hang on and we will see if soemone does. I have not hunted in Alaska yet.

    Ive got a TON of info for you, ill send it to you when i get back home. I did a lot of research and was going to go this year but am doing a moose hunt instead

    Are you looking for a guided hunt? What is your criteria for a shooter? Are you driving up there? Rifle or Archery? What time of year a you looking to go? July or later in Sept. Let me know what your looking for maybe I can help. Shawn kurt kid

    I think I might be able to handle a self guided hunt. I believe the season is late Aug. thru Sept. and that’s fine. I definitly would use a rifle, I bow hunt for deer a fair amount but have yet to get a shot. I would not be expecting a record book bull. One problem I am having is any of my regular hunting buddies to join me. They do not want to spend the money.
