Big Mountain Lion killed by a truck

    I received this email today. Supposedly this big cat was killed by a Ford F350 truck in northern AZ. It measured over 7 feet (head to tail) and weighed over 200 lbs.

    Another big cat killed near Seattle in 2002. This one weighed 190 lbs.

    These photos were taken near Dakota MN in mid Feb. of this year. The DNR said that only one animal can do this and thats a cougar.

    Hey Fleck, rumor has it that right down the river from you in Clayton county Iowa that there was a cougar spotted last summer.

    There was one caught on a trail cam in Brownsville not all that long ago. No mistaking the cat in the pics either.

    You hear of any bears going through that area too, we get reports from people who live in those counties that someone sees an occasional bear. Clayton and Allamakee countys are half timber, bluffs and hills, theres all kinds of places where a bear or cougar could be without being seen or seen for a short period of time.

    I think that with all the cams out now and more in the future we’ll begin to see them more and more.

    I saw one in your yard the other day Coppertop, he was sniffing your boots. Dunno what that means
