Wanna shoot sporting clays?

I was thinking about getting a team of guys together to shoot a sporting clays league at Game Unlimited outside Hudson, WI. I haven’t shot much since I moved from Iowa a couple years ago and none of my friends up here can or will shoot in a league this year. I checked on it last year, and you did not have to be a member to shoot league. I could just join a team that needs a guy, but I figured I would try to get an IDO team together first. Let me know if you are interested and I’ll get more information.

I’d be interested. I live in Somerset, WI. What night would it be?

The last time I checked, you could shoot any night from Mon – Thurs. I am waiting for a call back from them on more information. I think we need at least 4 for a team. Do you know anyone else that would be interested?

OK, here’s the details. It starts the first week of April. It runs 12 weeks and then there is an individual “tournament” and a team “tournament” at the end. You can shoot any night Mon-Thurs. Makeup days can be Friday – Sunday by appointment. It is $18 to join the league, which goes toward the cost of food and prizes for the year end banquet, and $18 to shoot each week. Each week the course is changed, so you never shoot the same course twice. You do not have to be a member at the club. If we can’t get enough people to have our own team, there are teams with room that we can get on. Sounds like fun to me!

Sounds like alot of fun!! I am not the greatest but mainly love to get out and do some shooting. Not sure of anybody else who would be interested for all the guys here at work are already on a team together that shoots regular clays. There might be a couple other guys already looking for a couple other guys to team up with. Let me know!
