Taken in the Black Hills of South Dakota. My cousin was lucky enough to shoot one two years ago during the first season. He got a full body mount. Pretty spooky when you are sitting across the room from it in the basement.

    Cool pics Kooty.

Did he mount it with or with out the radio collar????

When I was out there Deer Hunting the season was closed on that Saturday. I never saw one out there, but man it is eery when your walking in the dark with a gutted deer.

I guess some of the collared kitty’s have been shot. My cousin’s came into an elk call. Think a human has a chance against these beasts if they can take an elk??

Anybody seen my poodle, he’s been missing for a few days.

Elk call? Wow! It is very difficult to call one in! Most are taken with dogs. My buddy goes out to Montana every year and always asks me to go with. He shot one a couple of years ago – 160 lbs! He also did a full body mount and it turned out really cool.

That are amazing pictures. The cat numbers are really growing in the Black Hills. My brother in-law was hunting them 2 years ago and was taking a little break and looked over his shoulder and there was a cat staring at him about 40 yards away!! He said he was so scared it didn’t even cross his mind to get his gun drawn, and when he jumped the cat spooked and ran off.

Their neighbor has also had one in the backyard about 2 months ago.

there is NO WAY you can trust one in the field, they could do just about anything they want with you.
    great pics.

Is there anything else to be said about them pictures?? Like, where did the deer/elk/critter carcus go. There’s about a 3 hour laps from the first picture to the second. Anyways, it looks to me like they are eating on something on the 5:43 picture. Sweet looking animals.

in the 8:43 picture is that possibly a 3rd (the 2 glowing dots) on the left side or possibly the carcass of the dinner?
