Wanted: Food Plot Work in Burnett County

  • #205088

    Hey Everyone,

Does anyone know of someone who is experienced with Food Plots that would be willing to extend their services for some extra cash??

I have had a food plot extablished for about 3 years now, but it is a very small area, approximately 1/2 acre in size, and have up until now only used garden tools and a small garden tiller to prepare the soil.

I’m looking for someone to prepare and plant this area using tools operated VIA ATV.

Also if anyone knows what type of price range i would be looking at for these services, it would be appreciated!!

    Thanks in Advance!!!

My neighbor in Rochester is involved with this outfit. They traveled all over MN doing foodplots this year. Other guys cover WI. Here is a link to the web site.

I’m kind of in the same boat as Chowdski….we have some land (380 acres) in the Wadena area that I’d like to get some food plots in. I’m not sure what/how/etc to do it…I’ve read up on them alot, but wouldn’t mind getting someone that has done them to come up, take a look, and get an opinion on what kind of equipment to use etc. I know the basice, but not sure if I’d be better off with a small tractor, or ATV equipment. If the person has the tools, wouldn’t mind hiring them to get the plots going this year and see how everything works….

Sorry, Chowdski, didn’t mean to hijack your thread.

Fireman, how big of plots are you looking to do??? How many plots??? This might answer your question on equipment size. If you are lookng at plots bigger then a couple acres a small tractor might be the answer. If your plots are 1-3 acres or smaller and scattered through out the acreage a ATV might be bettter, plus your ATV will serve other uses also.
