I’m watching Spirit of the Wild tonight and Ted takes a nice Blackbuck somewhere in TX. He went on to say how they spread a mix of bait earlier in the day. Then he looked at the camera and said

“And if you have a problem with baiting game and baiting deer…..SHUT UP. We put worms on our hooks to catch fish”.

I was both pissed and giggling a little at the same time. I don’t agree with his statement but do appreciate the way he speaks his mind.

Like him or hate him, he definitely speaks his mind. I for one respect him for doing so

My opinion on baiting is, it depends on where you are hunting. In Texas, baiting is almost a must to pull them out of the mequite thickets for a good clean shot. Farmland deer in the upper Midwest, not really necessary, but in the huge forests in WI and MN, I can see where it would help.
Myself, I wouldn’t feel right hunting over bait in my area, but that is just me

How many guys in his position say what the mean and mean what they say?

    Not to many!!!!!

Plus none of the other hunting shows have a old dude that can rock the strings like him!
