Gave it a serious effort this weekend and didn’t bring my bones along,, didn’t like the bag at all way to high pitched for my liking.
Anyone try this product and like it?

I really like the bag o bones. Hold the bag a little firmer it will give a deeper tone or losen your grip and you can really give it heLL especially on those really windy days. Be ready downwind.

Primos are the only ones I found that didn’t have wooden dowels in them, I hate the sound the wood ones make. That said I use a different method than anyone else I know and it brought me horns this year. I lower the bag on my lift rope and let it rattle from plopping it on the ground or side of the tree base. I can make some pretty realistic sounds and I wonder if being more at ground level doesn’t help some. The biggest advantage is I can rattle with both hands on the bow by using my toe to do the jiggling. If a buck comes running from nearby cover I’m already set and won’t get caught in mid rattle as I have before.

I think that anything less than fresh, real horns, will not fool a mature buck day in and day out- I could be wrong though- the rope idea has been around for a while- it also works well with antlers.

I have yet to rattle in a buck with a rattle bag and believe me I have tried and tried. IMO, there is no substitute for the real thing…

I used one a couple times and this was my EXACT thought. Real antlers for me
