Are these things any good? I’d like to hear some comments because the Hudson Fleet Farm has a .30-06 Benelli R1 rifle on sale through Tuesday for only $999.99!!! Gander has the same synthetic stock model available for $1399.99. 
I’m really not in a position to do anything but…….. I know someone who is that’d sell it back to me at a later time! So, should I??? Shouldn’t I??? Gimme the scoop!

Are these semi-auto rifles?? I’ve not stayed up to speed on my guns much lately with the lack of hunting going on at my place.
I can tell you I don’t care for semi-auto’s in a rifle. I feel the bolt actions are much more accurate, but then again, may Benelli has this little trick figured out. They make great guns!!
