Just looked at Archery Business magazine…the Bear “Truth” caused the biggest stir at the ATA show this year…
faster, quieter, and smoother than the SwitchBack XT or Drenalin

I have shot the switchback for two years and am more than satisfied with it.

I am in the market for a new bow after 10 years so I went to A1 archery to shoot many different brands. Matthews, Parker, Fred Bear, Hoyt, Ross and last but definitely not least…MISSION BOWS. Mission is made by Matthews. The bows were smooth and really fast, and affordable. The bow really impressed me. Take a look….mission archery.com.

I heard those monster bows were illegal in MN being with the let off at 95/100 %

I would guess half the bows on the market nowdays would be “illegal” as far as entering animals in the record books since the let-off’s are mostly 80% or higher. I never did hear if P&Y decided to make the rule change to allow the 80% let-off be eligible.

I believe it still is 65 % and less, although, now, they will enter the animal into the book, with an asterisk next to it, if let off was greater than 65 %.

I thought they raised it no more than 10%?? not sure though have to look into it. In a way, i think it is kind of a silly idea

Well guys I tried out the new bowtech, bear truth and mathews drenilin and all three bows shot well but the mathews was much lighter, quicker and quieter then the rest. So I now have the Mathews Drenelin and can’t wait for deer season.
I also checked into the rumor that the mathews had limb problems, the only thing I could find on the matter was that someone used the wrong press on one of these bow, besides the Mathews has a lifetime warrenty.

They now put them in the record book but they use an asteriks(sp)? to denote it was shot with a bow with more than the allowed let-off.
