Hunting near buildings/docks question

For some reason I’m striking out trying to find the law for hunting/discharging a firearm near a cabin (buildings in general) or any other man-made structure for that matter. I’ve searched the MN dnr regs (general and waterfowl) and did a search on IDA, but can’t find the answer. I know I’ve read it before, but don’t want to guess one way or another.

We’re thinking of duck hunting a point near a friend’s cabin. We’d be about 150 yards from any man-made structure and have plenty of vegetation to sit in. I’m hoping someone here knows the answer off the top of their head. Thanks in advance.

I am pretty sure the laws says you need to be 500 feet away from any building occupied by people or livestock to legally take a game animal with a firearm.
I am not sure if there are regulations concerning docks.

I think the law might also state that if you have permission from the homeowner you should be ok.

Well, I finally tracked down the information. In case anyone else is wondering here it is, in its full legal splendor. Thank you guys for your help.

    Minn. Stat. § 97B.001, subd. 7
A person may not take a wild animal with a firearm in the
    following areas:
< within 500 feet of a building located on private
agricultural land or on a public right-of-way if the
building is occupied by human beings or livestock,
unless the written permission of the owner, occupant,
    or lessee is obtained;
    House Research Department September 1999
    Minnesota Firearms Laws Page 35
< within 500 feet of a stockade or corral containing
livestock, without the written permission of the owner,
    occupant, or lessee; or
< on any land on which notices have been posted
    prohibiting trespassing for outdoor recreational
purposes without the permission of the owner,
    occupant, lessee, or authorized manager.

you may need to also check with the city that you are hunting in to see if they have added to the law.
