Has anyone EVER gotten through to Non Typical for customer service on their Cuddeback?? I have been calling for 2 weeks without any luck. The number is contantly busy. I am a big fan of their trail camera’s but this customer service is the worst I have ever encountered.

I am trying a fax now, we’ll see how that goes. But this is getting rediculous. Anyone have any inside contacts?? I am starting to change my tune on their product. Great product, horrible service so far

Scott, just logged onto their website… no CONTACT US button ? Then for chits and giggles I dialed their number, busy, busy, busy. I would click on their enter a video in their contest and put your info there. That is weird a company like this, wouldn’t have an email link on their site …? What problems are you experiencing with your camera ?

After a few images it says CamError and then it is done until you reset it. Sometimes 3, 5, 8, 11, 486 images before it gets the CamError. If anyone gets through to that number, tell them to call me

Scott, you might want to try emailing this seed-n-feed in Park Falls, looks like they are in Cuddes back pocket. They have an email link. Good luck.

It took me about 3 days to get through….they are fixing my NO Flash right now. I think they are just swamped with repair orders on the new line of cameras that they put out this year. The buzz on the internet is pretty “down” on non-typical right now. High dollar camera with alot of problems. I still like their products but the service it poor. I just kept hitting redial as I was doing some paperwork at my desk…..45 minutes later When they actually answered it sounded like a little old lady answering the phone in her living room. I thought I had the wrong # It has been 8 days and counting since I mailed it…….I might just have to hunt the old fashion way this year.

When I bought the first cuddyback (1.7mp I think). I had a broblem with it right out of the box. As soon as the camera took a picture on the memory card it would read the card as being full. Even after reformating and all that. So I called Non Typ and they gave me the run around basically saying the camera wouldn’t do that. Then they said I could send the camera in and they would do a software update on it (all at my cost) because it was more then 30 or 60 days after purchase. I said the hell with them and just returned it to cabelas and at the time the 3.0 had just come out so I just exchanged it for the 3.0 and haven’t had any problems with that one. The cameras are nice but customer service and non-typ. is terrible.

This morning I had a message from Non-Typical. They were responding to the fax I sent yesterday. They said they have a new phone system and are having problems with it. The message said they will keep trying to call me. I will keep you guys posted.

I have to say I’ve never had a single problem with them. I’ve used them 2 times for customer service. The first was with my film one DC-200. It wouldn’t leave a date on it. I sent it in and they put a new camera in at at no cost. The second time was for one of my digital cameras. I had an issue with the media card. There was a peice of packing in the card port and they fixed it at no expense. Every time I’ve called they answer on the first ring. Sorry you’ve had so many problems.

In search of a new digital camera I did some research and stumbled across a web site that frequently tests most all of the cameras on the market including the Cuddebacks and they can’t say anything good at all about Nontypicals customer service. Surprisingly, the have tested Cuddebacks head to head with other cameras with half the cost and have found them as equal in quality with exception to picture quality and flash strength. I was set on getting myself a Cuddeback until the reviews showed that I could purchase 2 cameras for the price of 1 Cudde.. with comparable if not better overall performance. Not sure I can post the website on here or not. It would certainly be worth a peak if one’s planning on purchasing a new digital camera.

Tagger, whats the trigger speed of the 2 for 1 camera. That is what sold me on the cuddeback. Thankfully, haven’t had any problems with it yet.
