Tax Programs

    I just purchased some hunting land in Sherburne County, MN and was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on any tax relief programs that might be available.

    I don’t know how it is in Minnesota but in Wisconsin some of the tax (forestry) programs open your land up to public use. Not a good thing in my opinion. Check into every part of the program you decide to use. They are not easy or cheap to opt out of. They also decrease the value of your land should you decide to sell it.
