Hwy 55 going east, as your turn off 52 South……On the north side of 55, there is always about a dozen or two deer out there. One had a decent rack on yet as of yesterday!

February 22, 2006 at 7:13 pm #15346There’s a few guys finding some sheds! I went last Sunday for about an hour and didn’t find any. Did find a good spot for a stand next year though! Will probably go out again this weekend for a bit!

find a shed.February 22, 2006 at 8:59 pm #15348The one guy i work with said the big buck hes had in his back yard all winter has lost both sides. Another friend of mine from work co owns some land in Iowa and the other guy found 1 side off the monster they’ve been after the last couple years. They have him on cam tracker. Its a monster nontypical, no kidding, the ONE side scores 114 with 12 points. This is the fourth year they have found his sheds, assuming they find the other side again that is. They had thought he might approach 250″ this year and the photos and now one shed is proving he might have been close or bigger yet.

February 22, 2006 at 9:27 pm #15349James, can you get pictures of those trail cam photos and post them on here? They would be worth looking at for sure. Or possibly have your buddy take a picture of the shed and see if you can post that! 114 on one side….AWESOME!

February 22, 2006 at 10:44 pm #15352Typically the more mature bucks will lose theirs first. I have found two so far, but have also seen bucks still wearing theirs.

February 22, 2006 at 11:58 pm #15353I can try dartman, i might be able too get over too his house and get a picture of me holding the sheds from last year too. 25 points and with a safe 20″ (he said the cam pics looked too be about 25″ this year) spread it would have been over 220″.

March 1, 2006 at 12:00 am #15501I’m looking for someone who hunts for antler sheds to do a story on KAAL-TV this week. Anyone do it, or knows someone else that does, somewhere in southern mn or twin cities area or north iowa?
