You might search Bed and Breakfast inns. It wouldn’t be a guided trip but the owners usually go out of their way to be helpful. 20 years ago I took my daughter on a pheasant hunt in Iowa and we stayed in an old 4 room school that had been converted to a B&B with tons of antiques everywhere. The owners were very helpful pointing us to where the birds should be. It was a very memorable trip.
Well if you like whitetails….Buffalo County, WI is the spot for trophy whitetails. Lot’s of outfitters and lease options can be found but you need to search. Rut’n Ducks Lodge can give you a nice place to stay…..VRBO#954054…..
I would suggest the Miracle Mile area of Wyoming. Hunt Antelope and fish trout in the Platte River. A fair amount of public land and camping spots available. I would go late September or early October. Lots of Wildlife and great scenery. I have done that trip three times and each was a blast. It is north of Sinclair Wyoming. Roads can get slimy if it rains and very dusty if it is dry. Four-wheel drive is a must. Very few trophies here but lots of antelope.
Avalanche outfitters in Colorado for elk. I might use them next season. But we are headed to Idaho this year for elk, mule deer and antelope. Pm me if you want some contact info.
