Let’s hear the stories behind those bucks.
well kooty the 2 day rain had just stopped and the wind was howling but I knew that the bucks would be on their feet. I was in the middle of posting on “action from the tree” when I noticed that there was a doe and fawn feeding on acorns about 15 yards away. about that time they started looking behind my tree… I was stuck
the buck a upper 130s to mid 140s buck had come in from down wind. when he cleared my tree at 1 yard he took about 3 jumps at the doe, they were just all to close to be able to put my phone away and grab my bow
over the next 3 hours there was a steady stream of bucks following her tracks from earlier that afternoon. 1 was a shooter but 55 yards so no shot. lesson learned about not paying atention while posting from the tree
