I am interested in getting a muzzleloader and I know very little about them. I had my eye on a T/C Omega but can’t pull the trigger, so to speak, without knowing more.

Can anyone advise what makes one better than the other and what features I should be looking for.

    thanks for the help

Omega all the way I love mine! Easy too use and easy to clean and I don’t think they get any more accurate.

The Omega was my first muzzleloader, like others have said great gun you can not go wrong with a Thompson Center IMHO. This summer bought a Thompson Center Signature Series Jim Shockey Series Pro Hunter FX .50 Caliber. Absolutely love this muzzleloader, it is the Cadillac of muzzleloaders no dought about it. Take the plunge on the Omega you will not regret it.
