I was wondering if anyone could help me establish the value of a gun my mother is trying to sell.

After looking up the serial number:

    1986 Browning BPS Hunter.

The barrel says Invector Special Steel – Field Model

It has a 26″ barrel, I am unsure if she has the chokes(one is in the gun), will find out this week.

This gun is in excellent condition and I highly doubt it has more then 200rds through it as there is hardly any action wear marks.

I think 275-350 would be an acceptable range. Id say 325-350 if she has all the chokes. What do you guys/gals think?

I am assuming 12 ga ? I would say with the chokes $300 is in the ballpark.

They’ll give you that, or that is what they would sell it for? $300 seems about right to me.

they would sell it for that, they’d take 15% from me.

I have a friend who wants to buy it for 250$ I just have to ask the person who owns it do they wanna sit on it to get more money down the road, or sell it to a friend of mine for cheaper. Thanks for all the input!

I believe its older. the butt pad is solid black and hard.

I sold it for 275.00 Probably could have gotten 3 but it went to a friend for his father to use. sometimes its not about making money but knowing your gun you bought and used and loved is going to someone that will like it just as much as you did.

I think that was a good price for both parties.
