I have been in the market for a super comfortable un-insulated hunting boot for years. I have tried on the kangaroos several times but never pulled the trigger because they seems so stiff brand new and without much sole padding. I have a pair of insulated Pronghorns and they are comfortable but not the best for warm weather. I’ve had other Danners in the past. I had pair of Danner GSX’s but after opening morning this year I threw them in the trash. I have old Rockys that served me well and have tried other brands.

Last week I bought a pair of Under Armor Speed Freeks and let me tell you my wish has been granted. Goretex, lighter than you can imagine and comfortable like a tennis shoe. I wore the hell out of them last Thur-Sun Grouse hunting and had not one single foot issue. Also bone dry. We’ll see how they last but for right now I’m saying the best lightweight hunting boot I have ever known.

    ps-on sale at Joe’s.

I was going to pull the trigger on a pair of those but never did. I might have to now. Danners are junk, would never own anthor pair again
