I have seen on some shows where the cameraman has a zoom button that has a cord that plugs into the camera some way? I try to film sometimes for fun and it would be very useful to not have to make motion any more than necessary. I have looked at best buy, gander, radioshack and some other places with no luck before I order one online I was wondering if anyone has used one and has any recommendations on which one. Thanks for any advice or help

My favorite is the Manfrotto 521 pro, it attaches to the tripod handle. Make sure your camera has a LANC input to connect it to. I would suggest getting it from B&H. http://www.bhphotovideo.com

I have a used varizoom VZ-Pro L, I could sell you if you’re interested. Again, make sure your camera has a LANC input.

A great tool! I’ve used the VZRock for a couple of years and I’m very happy with it. Only thing I would change is the size of the buttons are a little small.
