    Hey guys,
I was thinking about getting some knew hunting clothing this year. I’ve always have used Scentblocker and beleive it helps somewhat. I was looking over the Gamehide’s Mathews Collection and I was looking at the Conquest Jacket
and Pants and it contained the Silver Ion technology I was
wondering if anybody has used this stuff or anything with Silver in controlling odors and whats your opinion on it versus Carbon.

I use to be a scent blocker freak everything I owned was scent blocker but…….After buying a new pro-tech suit, and having it fall apart after one season I was a little let down. Then I bought a new dream season pro suit plus the boots loved it at first until my boots starting leaking , and the seams started to let loose on the suit after two months of use. After that I was done anyone that has seen the price on a dream season pro suit I would think would hope it would last a few years. I was done after that I feel like scent blockers products have really gone down hill in the last 5 years.

I made the switch to Gamehide’s products, and could not be any happier I’m very happy with everything they have to offer, and plan to use them till they stop caring but I don’t see any signs of it yet.

That is just my two cents I do still you scent blockers scent killing products, and am happy with them. Good luck with your choice I hope that helps a little bit

I haven’t worn any of the silver clothing, just used the sprays that utilizing the silver. I personally couldn’t see any difference. I would also be interested to hear an opinion from any one who has the clothing.

From a technology stand point, the Silver Ion clothes will kill some of the bacteria before you become “stinky”. This still doesn’t mean as hunters we shouldn’t wash our garments regularly in scent free soap and keep them in scent free containers.

I believe if I can gain even just a little edge over the amazing nose of a whitetail, I’ll take it.
