Just wondering how many of you are using bore guides for your bolt action guns? If you are, what brand are you using? I have heard great things about the Mike Lucas guide, but he is not making any until the end of April. Thanks for your input!!
What are the benefits of a bore guide?
A bore guide centers your cleaning rod in your chamber/barrel. More damage is done to the throat of your chamber form the cleaning rod rubbing on it than anything else.
As stated the bore guides protect the chamber area as well as also helping to keep the solvents from getting in the areas of the gun that are not wanted.
