My son, Tyler walks many miles with me each fall chasing forest and ditch chickens. He has worn tennis shoes, cheap rubber knee boots and winter boots. None of these are optimum and leave him tired (heavy winter boots), wet or with blisters.

It looks like my only option is to spend $60 or more to buy a decent pair of boots which isn’t a huge deal, but I’ll need to buy another pair each of the years coming up.

I’m just curious, what footwear do you set your kids up with?

    I believe he is either a 3 or 4.

We went with the Lacrosse youth Burly. They seem to keep his feet warm.

Those are great boots!! I sold countless pairs of those boots when I worked for LaX Footwear. I still have 2 pair myself. Today I came across a pair of Alphaburly’s in size 6’s for $70 online but they may be too big for your Son.
