    Guys,
I noticed my duck gun is getting a few tiny rust spots…I try to keep it dry, but obviously it’s in/around water all the time…What’s the best way to keep this clean and to remove those spots?

    Thanks guys

I’ve had good luck with “Flitz” getting those tiny rust spots off.

I use a product called “Sheath.” I’ve had the same bottle for probably 15 years, a little bit goes a long way. It’s great stuff for taking rust off, and protecting from new rust.

Is either the Sheath or Flitz capable of taking the blueing off ones barrel?

I know WD-40 has been known to take care of blueing. Great cover, but not so blueing friendly.

I haven’t tried it but I have heard that an eraser will remove minor rust spots. Flitz is a great product for general cleaning and polishing. and will not harm blueing.
