Saw this in a recent deer hunting magazine, thought I’d share. For those of you concerned about the scent these units might give off, this looks to be the ticket. I’ll give it a try bear hunting and report back to you guys.
Best part is that it’s just the replacement pads, and you don’t have to buy another unit.
I also found this regarding the active ingredient. Seems that it hasn’t been too big a concern regarding the scent because it mimics a naturally occurring plant chemical.
“The repellent, allethrin, is a synthetic analog (chemical copy) of a naturally occurring insecticide, pyrethrin, found in the pyrethrum flower, a member of the chrysanthemum family.”
