Hummingbird Ice Shuttle Mounting Knob Kit

I am looking for the kit to change my shuttle head from a Helix 5 to a Helix 7. The 5 kit has 2-2 inch spacers on each side and the 7 requires 2-1 inch spacers. If you use 1-2 inch spacer the unit won’t fit in the bag. The spacer in the pic is 2″. I have contacted Hummingbird via phone and the won’t sell to me bc they are discontinuing these and want me to by the whole kit for a ridiculous price when all I need is a $15 kit.

Can you cut the 2″ spacers in half?

Take an inch out of the center of them and glue together so the ends have the details you need?

3D printer?

Could you hack a piece of pvc pipe to fit if all else fails ?
