Hummingbird Helix units basemaps

I was wondering how good are the base maps that are now included on the units?

humminbird no G…………we are not dealing with birds.

the updated basemap is alot better than the other basemaps. alot more coverage, lakemaster data so quality should be there-not HD contours but their coverage. I still prefer the chip where you get HD coverage but its a good base

they really aren’t good for anything other than having a general idea of where you are. I think the max resolution is 10ft dept contours. Better off getting a chip or navionics and then using autochart to create your own map.
