Humminbird Solix Units

Looking at the solix line of Humminbird products. Looking at the 10 or 12 model. Currently run a helix 7 portable unit for both winter and summer and like it alot, looking at a more solid unit for the boat and maybe making a shuttle for the winter. Just looking for info on people using them good and bad and also Pros and Cons of the units.

Solix draws a whole lot juice than the Helix. Think I’d leave the SOlix for the boat.
Solix and Helis are the same in the visual screen I believe the Solix is more adjustable and with touch screen.

I know the keystrokes/ menu for the core/helix like the back of my hand. I struggle with the Solix, but fumble thru my way because it’s on the boat. Simple things like clearing trails for me almost take a call to customer support or you tube. With that said , I still love the Solix!
