Humminbird Mega Live – Perch Fishing

James Holst gives an update on his experience with Humminbird Mega Live when fishing for Perch in North Dakota.

I’ve seen a few videos of people using it now. Still not quite as sharp as Garmin, but I’ve been more impressed with it than I was after seeing the original few videos HB came out with when it first came out.

Honest to god, from what I have seen of garmin’s system, this looks a lot clearer. The garmin always seems to be a bit too blurry for my liking. These images were very sharp. Cool.

The constant flickering in/out of return signals on the Mega Live bothers me alot…even strong returns will suddenly dissapear and flicker back…

Cool, but I don’t even want to know what it would cost. I’d be afraid I’d drop the dang thing
