Humminbird ICE 35 problems

My ICE 35 will only turn on if I have the charger on it. When I do have the charger on it, I can turn it on but there are no colors and I can not run the simulator mode. Have any fellow anglers had this problem? If so, suggestions to correct it?

    Thank You

Your battery is shot or at least drained. Your charger provides so little power that it can only spin the motor but not power the lights that are on the rotor. Get a new battery or let it charge for hour or so and try again.
If it does end up working after charging for a few hours or overnight but does not last long then the battery needs replaced.
