Humminbird helix interference

    I have a Helix mid g3n unit connected to a Humminbird 360 transducer and an Ultrex trolling motor. I’m getting interference on the Helix when the trolling motor is on. Any suggestions?

    There should be a small 3amp fuse in the head of the trolling motor. I’ve had that go bad and cause interference before.

    Do you have your Bird powered by the trolling motor batteries? This will cause interference.

    Recheck connections. Had the same and one of my connections was working itself loose.

    When I have installed any depth finder up front I will run a ground wire from the skeg of the trolling motor to any ground from my starting battery, have never had an issue with interference.
