Humminbird Helix 7 update problem

In Simulator Mode I installed The latest Update version 2.110 last night. This morning on the water I turned the unit on and hit menu twice. I notice I don’t have all the menu option that I had before I updated nor do I have all my setting either. I’m on the water and screwed with no lube. Can someone please help this crippled vet. I don’t know if there is a way to uninstall the update and reinstall it or not. I sure don’t won’t to send it back to the factory if I don’t have too. PLEASE HELP!

With the update it probably set it back to factory specs. It more then likely is not in advanced mode ( they changed the name and I cannot remember off hand ) which limits your menu selection.

Hopefully you did not screw up the update by being in simulator mode did you read the instructions on Hbirds web site on how to do updates.

Jim, I did the same thing yesterday, update I mean. First download both files for the update and then install them on your unit in normal mode. Be careful though because you have to unzip one file to your PC before you can put it on your SD card.
