Humminbird GPS Puck

    I know wrong forum but I have quick question.

    Anybody in the north metro or in the brained lakes have a humminbird GPS puck to test. I picked up a 998 last year and the gps only worked once I am sure it is the GPS puck but I figure if I could test another GPS puck before I drop coin to purchase one.

    On my old Lowrance the GPS and the finder had separate power wires. One of the wires came loose so when the unit powered up I couldn’t understand why the GPS wasn’t working. Just before ordering a new puck I found the loose wire. Just something for your to check.
