Humminbird 999 and Ulterra communication issues

    So I’ve purchased a 2014 ulterra with link and I have a humminbird 999ci no I have purchased an ethernet net switch and extension cable and the adapter to connect to my humminbird. When I power them all up they dont connect to each other.

    Have you updated both to the latest software?

    Is the 999 a HD version? Some of the early 999 didn’t support Ethernet. If it is a HD version, after updating the Humminbird and Minn-kota, I would try it first connecting them directly.
