Hudson Boat Launch

I have checked the Hudson launch the last couple days and it there is a fair amount on ice on the ramp itself (less each day), but the river itself looks fishable. I switched to a new to me heavier boat and am worried about getting stuck on the ramp when I go to pull my boat out. I haven’t seen trailers in the parking lot, so I don’t want to be that “what was that idiot thinking guy”. Usually there is someone besides me wanting to fish this time of year. I am thinking of trying today and tomorrow. Bad idea?

Great idea. Bring some sand and maybe a couple strips of plywood.

Or bring a shovel and get your sand from the beach/shoreline. Good luck.

Tire chains are the way to go i carry mine in a 5 gallon pail especially up on the rainey when u get morons that dont know how to drain a trailer
