Went to Fleet Farm to pick up an ice anchor tool that I can use with the Eskimo Quickfish 3 that I’m waiting to have shipped. Anyway they were sold out except for the HT ice anchor tool. is this a decent tool for ice anchors? I was told a few weeks back that some just don’t work as well… Opinions from those who own or have used this tool, and does it work well with the ice anchors.
If its the longer plastic one with the spring clip that holds the anchor,I had one for quite a few years,worked fine,lost the clip and bought the otter one,which I like better.
Better check your anchors to the tool. I bought one with the clip ,I have the the Eskimo 3 . didnt fit.

I own this exact tool (all metal) for exactly the same shack. HT, and Eskimo’s tool are exactly the same but Eskimo get’s like $5 more for theirs.
Best anchor drilling tool I’ve ever used and I’ve used all the others in the past.
