How/Where to install a Talon on a MX series?

    Thinking about getting a Talon for my MX1825, curious how it mounts to the boat? I’ve only ever seen jackplate mounting brackets….Do you take the ladder off and use the motor mount bolts? Anybody have pics?

    I dont have any pictures right now but yes the same bracket is used but it gets mounted between the motor and transom. The ladder can be put on the other side if you dont have a kicker or can be removed.
    Pretty straight forward process

    thanks Eric, is there a spacer plate that gets installed on the other side of the motor then?

    Yes, that comes with the bracket
