I’ll be the first to admit, I know little about ML and maybe just a little less about eel pout…
But does all the pout look like this up there now? I don’t recall ever seeing a photo of a skinny pout?

Caught my second pout ever on Saturday night. Guessing about 20’ish inches and wasn’t skinny like the photo above. This was on the north side pretty close to Red Door.
Odd, Odd fish I’m learning. Quite difficult to get them to open their mouths for hook removal.
I’m just glad they are starting to show up on the big pond again.

I caught my share of ML pout and never saw one that skinny.
wow! seems real skinny….. how long is that hog?
Seems pretty skinny. My guess would be that it’s a freshly spawned out female.
