My kicker is getting replaced this week for sure. I rode that POS for 4 weeks to long already. Watch as soon as I replace him he will go off and end up being the High scorer the next week. This is. This is Daniel Carlson from the Raiders I’m talking about. One of the highest scoring kickers each of the last 2 seasons and now near or at the bottom of the list this year.

All kickers do that. That’s why you draft them in the last round. Ride em for four weeks and they do nothing and the second you drop them they start crushing again. Never fails.

To give everyone a idea of how bad my luck is in Fantasy Football. My opponent this week has DJ Moore on his starting lineup. Prior to last night, the single player high points was 45. Moore got 49 last night. I guess it could have been worse. He could also have had Justin Fields, that would have been another 33 Points. The little good luck was that my opponents Def. was Washington. He got 0 Points from them. So if Jefferson and Buffalo can score 49 points between them it will be a Wash.

Guy I’m playing started Washington’s defense, which posted a -2. Nice to have a roughly 10 point (Defenses avg about 8 points) cushion heading into the weekend! Lol

Our scoring had Washington at 0 points. The had 3 sacks each worth 1 point and gave up 35-45 points which scored as a -3. How did your leagure score it?

Sacks get 1 point, but we weighted points allowed more that a lot of leagues. So if your Defense allows 0 points you get 10, 1-6 gets 8 points….giving up 35-45 points is -5, and 46+ is -10.

Kind of what I thought. More – points for giving up more total points. I really like how the Def. scoring is set up in ours this year Vs last year.

Thankfully I had DJ Moore going last night. 54 points in a typical PPR league.

I thought our scoring was the typical PPR scoring. .1 per yard = 23.0, 6 Pts per TD = 18 pts, and 1 Point per reception = 8 pts. That was our total of 49

Ours is exactly the same, except the default on ESPN gives 5 additional points for a 200+ yard receiving game getting it to 54. If you are in ESPN your commissioner probably has that toggled off…if you are through something else it’s maybe not their default setting

I had two WR on byes in my Guillotine league team and used Curtis Samuel to fill in. Turned out really nice. I was worried about this week with 2 WR’s and 1 RB on bye.

It’s like my first time doing fantasy football with some people at work.

I think I have a decent team, made better by all the RB injuries this year since I went WR heavy early in the draft.

I’m like 4th in total points forced, and I’m 1-3 lol. My points against are BY FAR the most in the league, so just ran into some bad luck early, hope it turns around!

After 4 weeks I have 160 more points against than the ‘best’ team. That’s fantasy sports though!

Well now with Justin Jefferson being placed on the IR. My Fantasy Football team much like the Vikings, is in a lot of trouble. Unlike the Vikings, I think my Fantasy football team still has a shot at making the playoffs. My team had had 150 more points scored against me than the top 3 teams have. Those same 3 top teams have only scored about 60-70 more points than I have. Just been a little unlucky and hitting teams when they are scoring their most points for the year. My team name is Who’s Next – Right now that stands for who’s next for a win. Oh well, That’s Fantasy football.

I’m not doing very well either. 2-3 through 5 weeks. Nowhere near the league high in scoring either. Had 2 pretty good weeks and won, had 3 mediocre weeks and lost.

The guy leading my league (my brother) is 5-0 and he also has Jefferson. Maybe that will send him back to the pack.

1-4 after the weekend. Another loss to a team scoring over 150 points. Connor and Stephenson are killing me. Just traded Puka Nakua for Kenneth Walker which I’m happy about. I’m still stacked at WR. Hoping that will help.

Still going strong in Guillotine though.

So now that we are near the end or at Playoff season in FF leagues, Lets hear how everyone is doing or did. I totally sucked this year. I finished last in Our league of 10. I had the 5th most points scored but by far had the most points scored against ( 300-400 more than the top 3 teams) I think I ended up playing the Highest scoring point team 4-5 times this year. Only top 8 teams make playoffs, so I’m done for the season. I tried like hell this week to get a win. I had several friends who had I won would have really helped them. I ended up losing by less than 2 points and lost in the final minutes of last nights game. My opponent had Mostert and I had Tenn. kicker. It did not help that after Missing the 1st pick in out draft for the last 6-7 weeks ( Jefferson ) he gets hurt rather early in the game. Only ended up with 4.7 pts from him. Just par for the way my whole season went. How did all of you do ?

Turns out having a Vikings heavy team (JJ, Hock, Mattison), in the one year Cousins gets hurt, doesn’t work out well. Started 3-0, finished 4-10, and missed the last playoff spot by 14 points (last spots goes to most points scored). Also lucked into the most points against by 113. doah

In my other league I finished 8-6 and the 5th seed in the playoffs.

urns out having a Vikings heavy team (JJ, Hock, Mattison)

As is often the case, That #1 pick in the draft turned out to be a curse. I think JJ injuries hurt a lot of FF teams this year. Mattison sure turned into a bust this year. Both for FF owners and the Vikings. I didn’t expect him to light the world on fire, but expected more out of him that what he did.
